The Gemind Meteor Shower :

For long ages celestial events such as meteors, commets and eclipses have been taken as portentious omens.

Tomorrow night, the 14th is the peak time for the Geminid meteor shower. Appearing in the constellation of Gemini which is rising in the east in the first watch of the night.
Given how auspicious falling stars are, and the symbol of the re arising of the twins, the brother and sister twins.

It feels in my heart so auspicious that, this arising anew of the male/female twins, heralded by meteor showers, is on the eve of sacred pilgrimage celebrating the birth of the Bhikkhuni Sanga, the female twin of the dual Sangha.

Perhaps like the “superstitious” of olden days I am just dreaming, but perhaps it is true.
What proof is there that it isn’t true? (Absence of proof is not proof of absence)

So I allow my heart to dream and my aspirations to soar, lifting my heart up to the high goal of liberation.
